I sorta forgot about this... oops!

So yeh I have let the blog down ever so much! I have been here just over 2 months now and it seems to have flown in but in the same way it seems like I've been here much longer. I think it's because I'm in a routine now and just getting on with it.

As you could guess I have done a lot in 2 months so I'm not going to go into great detail. I feel settled in the apartment but it still doesn't feel homely, but I am now sharing the room with maroa the French girl. I am really happy about this arrangement as she is lovely and we seem to get on better together and the other 2 seems to get on better, so all in all everyone is happy for now. I have however put in for a move to a 1 bedroom apartment purely for the extra space, so hopefully I will be in before Christmas so I can put some decorations up. That is if I want to, I might just not think about Christmas this year, just kind of skip it all together.

The first week started with just some paperwork and the first day of work started off with traditions which gives us all the Disney Basics and a bit of history, we then got paid to go round Magic Kingdom to see these basics in action. We also got to watch some of the parade which was great. After we got back our boss came in and gave us our name badges, yes that's right the "Big Cheese", Mickey Mouse, came in to personally give us our name badges. Everyone was so happy, and at the end of the day we were all even more happy as we had our Disney Id's which means we have access to it all!!! This is when the fun begins!

After traditions we all headed to Magic Kingdom to watch Wishes and the Fireworks, the 5 of us where watching and all but Matthew started crying, but it has got to be the fastest change of emotion ever because as soon as it finished Myah had us in stitches.

Since getting here I have been to all the parks but still Hollywood Studios is my favourite and Sarah has enlightened me to something that I have never done before, the Animation Studios where you actually learn how to draw a character. So far I have been quite a few times, and also got a few of the Artists drawings, my favourites have to be Eeyore and Jack Skellington, but Rupunzel is really good too, Buzz Lightyear however is awful! After speaking to a guy on Rockin Rollercoaster when I was last there, it has gave me an idea. He had done the ride 13 times that day so far and he was aiming for at least 15 to beat his cousin, so I think one day I might see how many times I could do it or maybe Tower Of Terror or both. Good task to aim for and it doesn't cost anything. :D

On the subject of tasks I have already done the 4 parks in 1 day. I done it alone which I think helped. I started with Animal Kingdom, got there at just after 10am, went straight onto Everest, I actually walked right on, then I went on Dinosaur, once again walked right on, so far so good. It was only 11am and I was already on my way to the next park. I decided to go to the park thats bus came first so it ended up being EPCOT, so off to work I went. Once I got there I headed right for Test Track and done single rider on that. It did take a little longer than expected because it kept experiencing "technical difficulty", but that all got sorted and then I was off. I decided to have some lunch there, it was Food and Wine so it was sort of like the main attraction there. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! So after lunch I walked round to Hollywood Studios, I really do love that walk between the parks, its so peaceful. So once at Hollywood Studios I had a little wander round the shops looking to see if I could say anything that took my fancy. I then headed down to Tower Of Terror and Rockin Rollercoaster and done them both twice. I love it when there is no queues for those rides. I thought I was doing good because by the time I got the bus to Magic Kingdom it was only about 2.30pm. I thought I was going to have it all done in no time. Oh how I was wrong! I got to Magic Kingdom and it was ridiculously busy. If I hadn't done all the other parks I would have about turned and left. I headed to Big Thunder Mountain to get a fast pass because I knew it would be busy. I got the fast pass for about an hour later, but what was shocking was that the queue was 2 hours long! Totally mental! I then decided to walk over and see how long the queue was for space mountain and on the way go on Pirates of the Caribbean, when I got to it it was 45 minutes long! Its normally about 5/10 minutes so I wasn't doing that, but I did go into the Tiki Room. Its a nice little thing to do, plus I don't think I have ever done it before so it was fresh. I got over to Space Mountain and the queue was like 90 minutes so I thought I'd give it a miss and do Carousel of Progress instead, that is also something I haven't done for a long time, and I probably wont do it again for a long time. After that it was time that I could get another fast pass so I got one for Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger. I done both rides and then met up with Sam, Ameila and another 2 girls to watch the Electric Parade. I left after it but they stayed for the fireworks. It was a great day and I can say that I done all 4 parks in a day but it was surprisingly very tiring.

In work I am no longer the newbie, far from it actually, there has been I think 3 new groups after me which means my seniority is going up, not very much but still going up. In the same breath there has been a lot of people already left since I started, so it is giving me the idea of how fast people come and go. I do really enjoy the work so far, it is a lot of fun, but like anything I think it is what you make of it. I did put my name forward for becoming a trainer, but I was told at the moment I haven't really been here long enough. I did think that would be the result but it is always worthwhile putting my name down for it, show my interest.

As most people know I really do love Hallowe'en, its my favourite time of year, so this year so far I have been to 3 Hallowe'en nights and it is only the 20th of October and I still have the cabin on Hallowe'en itself. Mickeys Not So Scary Hallowe'en party was amazing both times, it was the first time I had done it and I would happily do it every night it's on, but it costs too much. I also done Universals Hallowe'en Horror Night last night and I have to admit I did jump/scream a few times both in the Houses and also the in the Scare Zones. We managed to do all of the Houses, Scare Zones and Shows, plus we went on The Mummy and done a few houses and scare zones twice. It was such a good night! On Hallowe'en itself a group of us girls are going to the Wilderness Lodge Cabins for the night. Sounds like the start of a Horror movie "a group of girls spent Hallowe'en night in a cabin in the woods watching scary movies!". Haha! I can't wait, its going to be so fun!

Well I think that's me caught up with everything so far, if I have missed anything then I'm sure I will remember at some point. Lets see how long it will take for my next post, fingers crossed not nearly as long cause my memory is crap!
